Gifts for the Angler that has Everything

flyfishing-giftsWhile I travel the next two days for the Amazon it’s a good time to push a few “Currier” art products for the holidays.  I’m pretty sure everyone is familiar with my Webstore but just in case you’re not, here’s a reminder.

fish-coffee-mugsI offer over 80 different species of fish as well as a pheasant, mallard and pintail on my famous coffee mugs, frosted beer steins, hoodies and men’s and women’s sun protective shirts.  Most anglers have everything they need as far as fishing equipment and are hard to buy presents for, however surely they would love a coffee mug with their favorite species of fish on it.  Hence my slogan, “Gifts for the Angler that has Everything”.

fish-decalsIn addition to my in house products, some of my most popular species are available as decals.  The decals are made of extremely high quality vinyl polished finish and are waterproof and weather proof.  They are available in three sizes.  I don’t distribute these myself but they can be ordered directly from my friends at Pescador on the Fly.  These are the ultimate stocking stuffers!

warmwater-flyfishing-booksLast, I am offering a deal on my Warmwater Fly Fishing book, “Currier’s Quick and Easy Guide to Warmwater Fly Fishing”.  This book covers all the species from bass to pike to carp and many more.  The book is normally $27 plus shipping.  For the holidays I’m offering it for $25 including the shipping and I’ll autograph it and sketch a fly in there.  Just mail a check with a note including your mailing address, your email address and the name to whom you would like me to autograph it for.  I will be in Brazil until December 2nd but plan to mail all orders pronto upon my return home.  Send your check to: Jeff Currier, 10818 Country Club Ln, Hayward, WI 54843.

I started fly fishing at age 7 in the lakes and ponds of New England cutting my teeth on various sunfish, bass, crappie and stocked trout. I went to Northland College in Ashland, Wisconsin, where I graduated with a Naturalist Degree while I discovered new fishing opportunities for pike, muskellunge, walleyes and various salmonids found in Lake Superior and its tributaries.

From there I headed west to work a few years in the Yellowstone region to simply work as much as most people fish and fish as much as most people work. I did just that, only it lasted over 20 years working at the Jack Dennis Fly Shop in Jackson, WY where I departed in 2009. Now it’s time to work for "The Man", working for myself that is.

I pursue my love to paint fish, lecture on every aspect of fly fishing you can imagine and host a few trips to some of the most exotic places you can think of. My ultimate goal is to catch as many species of fish on fly possible from freshwater to saltwater, throughout the world. I presently have taken over 440 species from over 60 countries!
