Granny and I left the Ruby Van back in NH and flew to The Denver Fly Fishing Show on Thursday. We were weighted down with four 69.5 lb. bags full of my famous coffee mugs and beer steins. We also had mugs in our carryon along with fish decals and my Warmwater books. I’m happy to say we’re on our way home today two bags less and much lighter!
The show was excellent as always. If you’ve not been to one of the well-known Fly Fishing Shows and considered attending one – Denver is awesome. Nearly all the fly rod, reel and line manufacturers were there as well as numerous fishing lodges and shops. I delivered two presentations a day and all were well attended. I fielded lots of fun questions and met many great people.
Granny and I are in flight right now from Denver back to Boston. Presently we have a 110 mph tailwind and are traveling at 636 mph. Fast! Tonight Granny and I should be back to Wolfeboro to rest at mom’s two more days before heading onward for the Edison New Jersey Fly Fishing Show. I’ll post my NJ speaking schedule in the next couple days. That’s all for now. Keep the pedal to the medal!
