Jason's Deer Hair is premium deer hair, and is selected from the hides of deer which live in the open Midwest range, which results in hair with both thicker hair follicles, and longer length which results in a premium product for building those larger fly patterns which require that extra length. The exacting fisherman or fisher woman, who demands the longest, highest floatibility without having to rely on those messy paste floatants, and or pretreatments of some form of liquid floatant. Each patch of deer hair is premium and is dyed only with premium professional dyes providing the best product possible.

Whorle Creek Professional Beaver dry fly dubbing, sets the standard for the discerning fly tyer, who wants a natural fur product which makes beautiful dubbed fly bodies, which are functionally wonderful and come in exacting colors created by the highest quality dyes. Whorle Creek beaver dubbing begins by selecting only winter prime pelt beaver skins, which are put in process developed here specifically to tan the hides without harming the natural floatant properties of the dense fur. Next, the tanned skins are separated into units which are 2.75 X 4.75" in size. Then small batches which will be either selected for there natural color, or will be bleached, and then dyed to a specific color resulting a great dry fly dubbing. The dubbing which is dyed to a specific color does result in the skin shrinking but all the fur dubbing is still intact and still has the natural floating properties. This dubbing is a seasonal product thereby supplies are limited, but the opportunity to have such a product for fly-tying, outweighs the extensive effort and energy needed to make this product available for both the professional and novice fly-fisherman alike. This product is custom, rest assured you will be tying flies that are both unique and successful for the ever educated trout waters that you fish.
