Mark Kuhn - Born and raised in Aurora, CO, Mark took on fly fishing during freshman year of high school. At that time, fly fishing was an enjoyable activity he did on a somewhat regular basis. Mark continued to enjoy the sport through college at the University of Colorado, where he earned a BS in Finance. By his senior year there, he knew working in a big city in a cubicle, and managing hedge funds, was not for him.

Having visited Jackson Hole Wyoming and the greater Yellowstone area a few times in high school, Mark thought of moving there after college. He interviewed at a few of the banks in Jackson and applied at Jack Dennis as a backup. He must give credit to his father, Kevin, for initiating Mark to do so.

Mark Kuhn received a call from Jeff Currier, the fly fishing manager at Jack Dennis Sports, a few weeks after his visit. He offered Mark a job in the fly shop, and long story short, he took it. That acceptance has become the best decision of his life. Mark has fished and learned more than he could have ever imagined. Mark feels he has found what life is really all about....doing and living what you’re passionate about.
